Here are some tracks that take very little time to track such as Jhandi View Point and Tosha Lake Track. Apart from this, the traditional Lepcha Ghar and the historic Singhik Math are also a good place for tourism. The best time to visit Singhik is between March to May in summer and September to October in winter. It receives heavy rainfall between July and August and as it is a hilly region, going here at this time is not free from danger.
About 144 km from Gangtok and about 28 km from Lachung, Mount Katao is an excellent tourist spot. However to reach the peak you have to get permission from the army.
